Music: Julien Salvia
Lyrics and Book: Ludovic-Alexandre Vidal
Adapted from Jules Verne’s novel
London, 1889,
Phileas Fogg is a secret and phlegmatic gentleman who lives his life with a mathematical precision. He believes in science and progress and spends most of his time at the Reform Club where the other gentlemen are more traditionalist than him.
One day, Fogg publishes an article saying it is now possible to travel around the world in 80 days. Sir Thomas Flanagan, who has been his rival for years, and with whom Fogg fights for becoming the next head of the Reform Club, defies him to accomplish this journey. The winner will get the position. Fogg agrees and leaves London with his new French butler, Jean Passepartout.
The journey of Fogg will be full of obstacles. Flanagan will send Inspector Fix to chase him and try to stop him, pretending Fogg is the thief of the Bank of England. Fogg will also also meet Princess Aouda, that he and Passepartout will save from a ritual sacrifice in India.
From Paris to San Francisco, passing by Suez, Calcutta and Hong Kong, Fogg, Passepartout and Miss Aouda will live an unbelievable adventure that will change their life.
